We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role will involve providing hands-on technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations for end users. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT helpdesk support, device management, and end-user support in fast-paced environments, along with a strong focus on customer service.

Job Description:

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support to end users in a fast-paced and distributed environment. This IT Support Specialist role focuses on troubleshooting, device deployment, and supporting both onsite and remote employees.

As an IT Support Specialist , you will manage IT help desk operations, support hardware/software issues, and assist with AV systems and collaboration tools. The IT Support Specialist will also ensure smooth onboarding, deployment, and ongoing support for employees across multiple locations.

This IT Support Specialist position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site IT help desk support and respond to user requests (2 4+ years experience)
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for Mac and Windows devices (2 4+ years experience)
  • Image and deploy laptops/desktops using MDM tools (JAMF, BigFix, AirWatch) (2 4+ years experience)
  • Support AV systems including video conferencing and meeting tools (2 4+ years experience)
  • Assist with AV setup for meetings and company events (2 4+ years experience)
  • Administer user accounts and services (e.g., Okta, Google Workspace) (2 4+ years experience)
  • Deploy and maintain software for end users (2 4+ years experience)
  • Manage IT inventory including hardware and software assets (2 4+ years experience)
  • Track and resolve tickets using IT helpdesk systems (2 4+ years experience)
  • Collaborate with escalation teams to resolve complex issues (2 4+ years experience)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2 3+ years of experience in IT support or help desk roles
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for macOS and Windows environments
  • Experience with Apple device management and enterprise tools (JAMF or similar)
  • Knowledge of Windows laptop/desktop administration
  • Basic to intermediate networking knowledge (servers, switches, WiFi)
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems and workflow tools (ITIL-based systems, Confluence)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Ability to lift and handle IT equipment (50+ lbs)
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience supporting distributed/global teams
  • Familiarity with AV systems and conferencing tools (e.g., Google Meet)
  • Experience improving end-user experience and IT processes
