What's the job?
The primary objective of this role is to lead the strategic management of sales compensation and analytics utilizing sales compensation software, various data visualization software, and cross-functional collaboration. This role focuses on spearheading comprehensive sales analysis, reporting, and tool development initiatives critical for informed decision-making within the sales department. The role aims to ensure precise compensation strategies, data-driven decision-making, and compliance adherence, contributing to optimized sales performance and aligning compensation plans with the company's overarching business objectives.
Sales Compensation Management & Strategy
Design and administer CertainTeed Exterior Product sales compensation program utilizing sales compensation software, ensuring alignment with company objectives and sales targets.
Regularly assess and refine compensation structures to drive performance, productivity, and retention among the sales force.
Ensure accurate and timely calculation and distribution of commissions and bonuses, resolving compensation-related issues promptly.
Collaborate with IT or technical teams for sales compensation software system enhancements and updates to improve compensation processes.
Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including Sales, HR, Finance, and IT, ensuring alignment on compensation-related initiatives.
Ensure seamless integration of compensation strategies with HR policies and financial reporting.
Sales Analysis and Reporting
Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to drive strategic decisions.
Translate complex data into clear, concise reports for internal management, including monthly sales reports to sales leadership, highlighting key performance metrics and market trends.
Develop predictive models to forecast future sales impacts based on various scenarios and market conditions, aiding in proactive decision-making.
Collaborate with the Pricing Group to assess and report on customer rebate data, ensuring accurate accruals and alignment with pricing strategies.
Evaluate regional and competitive price positioning to provide insights into pricing strategies for optimal sales performance.

What do you bring?
Bachelor's degree Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.Required
Advanced degree MBA or advanced degree in other relevant technical fields Preferred
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in sales compensation management, data analytics, or related fields - Required
Experience with compensation software such as Spiff Preferred
Demonstrated track record in cross-functional collaboration Preferred
